Wine barrels are incredibly versatile and bring us humans together in many different ways. Where people who previously gathered around the barrel for tasty wine tastings can now meet at our elegant bar table for social gatherings. Oak barrels have been used for several years to store red wine and, in addition to the light scent of wood and wine, they exude an incredible charm. Finally, we retain characteristic signs of wear such as scratches, wine and storage marks as well as the manufacturer's brand, as they tell the story of the barrel and make each piece of furniture unique. The glass top is like new and creates an elegant contrast with the rustic cane. The table top rests on four non-slip rubber heads.
Elegance meets the rustic character of the wine barrel
For the Trapani wine barrel bar table with glass top, we repurposed a used red wine barrel made of oak. To do this we sand the surfaces to remove any coarse residues and sharp edges. The rings are screwed to the wood of the barrel, because over time the barrel can dry out a little, creating small gaps between the individual barrel staves. Depending on your choice, the barrel is then oiled or enamelled, giving it its individual look. On the barrel lid of our bar table you will find the four non-slip rubber heads. The glass top of the table has a diameter of 70 cm and a thickness of 0.8 mm
